ASCM defines the international equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree as the level of study that would qualify an individual for a graduate program in the country where the undergraduate degree was earned.

The CLTD program contains eight modules and an exam that covers the critical areas of logistics, transportation, distribution, and the roles and responsibilities of logistics managers.

To achieve CLTD certification, you must master each of the following:

Self-study:
Ideal for self-taught people and those with unpredictable schedules. The self-study option means you can learn on your own at any time, day or night, according to what best suits your schedule. The CLTD learning system includes both printed books and access to an interactive online platform.

Instructor-led:
Ideal for people who prefer a structured study environment. Instructor-led courses are offered by approved ASCM partners worldwide. These traditional courses combine the learning system with guidance from an APICS-recognized instructor and provide valuable peer-to-peer discussion and networking.

Please note that in order to take a test, you must first complete the registration and payment process on the ASCM website: registration and payment process. Once you have registered to take a test, you may immediately schedule your test appointment online in your My ASCM account, 7 days per week, 24 hours per day. Test appointments are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

To optimize your exam experience:

  • The scheduling deadline for all computer-based exams is two business days before the exam date.
  • We encourage you to schedule your exam as early as possible to increase the chance of reserving your preferred exam date.
  • You are not permitted to reschedule within two business days of the exam
  • Any cancellations within 24 hours of the exam result in a forfeiture of fees.
